We love Indian food; this is a flavorful variation on traditional hummus that is very popular in our house.
Ingredients
  • 3 cups chickpeas (or 2 cans, drained and rinsed)
  • 1 cup water
  • 2 Tbs sesame seeds
  • Juice from ½ lemon
  • 2 large cloves garlic
  • 1 tsp curry powder
  • ½ tsp cumin
  • ½ tsp garam masala
Instructions
  1. Mix all ingredients in a high powered blender, like the Vitamix. Alternatively, use a food processor and substitute tahini for sesame seeds.
