We love Indian food; this is a flavorful variation on traditional hummus that is very popular in our house.
Ingredients
3 cups chickpeas (or 2 cans, drained and rinsed)
1 cup water or aquafaba (if making in food processor, add only ¼ cup)
2 Tbs sesame seeds or 1 Tbs tahini
Juice from 1 lemon
1 Tbs apple cider vinegar
2 large cloves garlic
1 tsp curry powder
½ tsp cumin
½ tsp garam masala
Instructions
Mix all ingredients in a high powered blender, like the Vitamix. Alternatively, use a food processor and substitute tahini for sesame seeds.
